Just about every thing in the universe is spinning. When something is spinning it behaves differently that when it is not spinning. This is because of inertia. Inertia is a science concept that explains the behavior of tops, yo-yos, bicycle wheels, the planet earth, etc.
The Science of Spinning is a fascinating library program that teaches children basic science concepts using spinning toys.
